Thomas Alva Edison is one of the most famous inventors who ever lived. His famous inventions include the motion picture, the phonograph and the light bulb. Edison, who is known as the Magician of Menlo Park, accomplished many successes in his life. He has 1093 patents in telegraphy, photography and electric lighting. Edison invented things that ordinary people could use. Some of his inventions were original. Some others were improvements of things invented by others. Edison also established a factory to invent things.
