Eligibility and Accounts
You may use the Services only if you can form a binding contract under applicable law.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
If you create an account, you agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information;
- keep access to your email account secure, because we send sign-in links to it, and keep any password for your account confidential;
- notify us promptly of any unauthorized access or suspected security issue;
- be responsible for activity that occurs under your account unless caused by our breach.
You can delete your account at any time on your Account page.
Free Services
The Services are free of charge. Some parts, such as most of the grammar course and the free grammar guide, require a free account.
We may update the features, layout, or content of the Services from time to time.
EnglishGrammar.org Pro is no longer sold. Purchases made while Pro was offered remain subject to the terms that applied at the time of purchase.
Emails
If you choose to receive our emails, we send them as described in our Privacy Policy. You can change your choices on your Account page or unsubscribe at any time. Messages about your account, such as confirmation emails and sign-in links, are always sent, because the account needs them.
License and Permitted Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial, educational use.
You must not, without our prior written permission:
- copy, reproduce, republish, sell, license, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Services or their content;
- share your account, sign-in links, or login credentials with another person;
- download, scrape, harvest, or extract all or substantial parts of the content at scale, whether manually, automatically, or by other systematic means;
- remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
- reverse engineer, interfere with, or circumvent access restrictions or security features;
- use the Services to train or improve machine-learning or artificial-intelligence systems using our content at scale;
- upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or unlawful content;

All content on EnglishGrammar.org, including text, exercises, explanations, layouts, graphics, logos, databases, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
User Feedback
If you send us comments, ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback for any lawful purpose without any obligation to you.

Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, excluding conflict-of-laws rules.
If you are acting in the course of a business, or if mandatory consumer law does not provide otherwise, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Bern, Switzerland.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory rights or mandatory forum protections under the law of your habitual residence.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting registered users may also be communicated by email or through the Services.
