Add appropriate question tags

1. The earth is not flat, …………………….?

The auxiliary used in the statement is repeated in the tag question. We use an affirmative tag after a negative statement and a negative tag after an affirmative statement.

In the simple present tense, we make tag questions with do or does.

In the simple past tense, we make the tag question with do.

When has/have is the main verb, we usually make question tags with do or does.

Hardly is a negative word; hence, we use an affirmative tag after it.

9. He cheated on the exam, …………………………?

Correct! Wrong!

10. Let us take a break, ……………………..?

11. He needn’t wait any longer, …………………………?

Correct! Wrong!
