Meeting indicates presence of a number of people. So, 'spacious' meaning having much space or room is the correct answer. There is nothing in the sentence to indicate that the meeting or place was special. So, option 1 is incorrect.

2. That he is very ............................................ is evident from the number of friends he has.

Correct! Wrong!

A social person likes to be around others or enjoys having conversations with others. Social can also describe things that have to do with society in general. A sociable person is easy for others to get along with. Thus, having friends would indicate that he is liked by others and he is easy to get along with. So, sociable is the correct answer.

3. The gangster made a ............................................ attack on the hapless villagers.

Correct! Wrong!

The word 'hapless' which means miserable or unfortunate, rules out options 1 and 2. 'Bold' would have been correct if the villagers had been strong or at par with the 'gangster'. 'Valiant' is a positive word and does not fit with 'gangster'. Thus, option 3 is the correct answer.
