3. Although he had a headache, he enjoyed the movie.

4. She works overtime because she wants to pay off her debts.

5. I don’t understand his theories but I have great respect for him. / Although I don’t understand his theories I have  great respect for him.

6. She wanted to catch the early train so she started before dawn.

7. As I was walking down the street, I saw Phil.
