Change statement into questions Exercise

A sentence that tells us something is a statement. One way it can be changed into a question is to use do, does or did as the first word.

An example is given below.

  • My sister enjoys playing tennis. (Statement)
  • Does my sister enjoy playing tennis? (Question)

Make question sentences from the following statements using do, does or did.

Use "Did" for a past simple question with "yesterday".

Use "Did" for a past simple question with "yesterday".
8............... he want to go abroad?
Wrong!
Use "Does" with the subject "he" in a present simple question.
9............... Susie sing well?
Wrong!
Use "Does" with the third-person singular subject "Susie" in a present simple question.
10............... Maya buy a new car last week?
Wrong!
Use "Did" for a past simple question with "last week".
