‘It’s windy. I don’t think we should go out.’

‘The weather is fine.’

‘It’s raining. We can’t go out now.’

‘It’s snowing. Don’t go out. You’ll catch a cold.’

‘I think the fog will soon clear up.’

‘What awful weather we are having!’‘Yeah. It is ridiculously hot.’

‘What a nice day!’

‘The sun is shining. You can’t find even a cloud in the sky.’

‘We’d a lot of rain yesterday.’

‘We didn’t get much rain this year.’

Conversation 1

It’s ridiculously hot!

Story line: Krishna and Mira are complaining about the weather. Here is a piece of conversation between them.

Krishna: What awful weather we’re having. It’s ridiculously hot!

Mira: Yes, it’s worse than last year.

Krishna: It feels like the whole world is broiling. No wonder, several people have already died.

Mira: Yes, you must be very careful when you go out in the hot sun.

Krishna: Forget about going out. The heat is unbearable even inside.

Mira: Yeah! I just hope that it doesn’t get any worse.
