Sentences are given in the active voice. Change them into passive voice by supplying a suitable verb form.

In the simple present tense, the passive form is made with is/am/are + past participle form of the verb.

6. Did the noise frighten you? .............. you .................. by the noise?

Correct! Wrong!

In the simple past tense, the passive form is made with was/were + past participle form of the verb.

7. When will they announce the results? / When will the results ......................?

Correct! Wrong!

In the simple future, the passive form is made with will + be + past participle form of the verb.

8. Do foolish drivers cause accidents? ................... accidents ................... by foolish drivers?

Correct! Wrong!

In the simple present tense, the passive form is made with is/am/are + past participle form of the verb.

9. They have spent a lot of money on the new house. / A lot of money ........................ on the new house.

In the present perfect, the passive form is made with has/have + been + past participle form of the verb.

In the simple past tense, the passive form is made with was/were + past participle form of the verb.
