Using how Exercise

November 14, 2014 - B2pdf

How is used to introduce questions. It is also used in exclamations. Note that when how is used in exclamations the verb comes after the subject. In questions the verb comes before the subject.

  • How do you know him? (NOT How you know him?)
  • How pretty she is! (NOT How is she pretty!)

How is not used in comparisons.

This grammar exercise tests your ability to use ‘how’ correctly in questions and exclamations.
